This peel has a very low pH and with glycolic acid which has a lower molecular size which easily penetrates the skin. However, this. can cause irritation/burns if not used properly.
This professional grade peel is powered by glycolic acid with a low pH to help exfoliate , brighten and retexturuze the skin. When applied to the skin , it softens and breaks down the glue that holds dead skin cells to the top skin layer.
 
These dead cells that stick around the top layer of the skin , makes the skin appear dull and rough. Once these dead cells slough away, a brighter and smooth textured skin is revealed. 
With regular usage, it can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines a d hyperpigmentation which creates a smooth and glowy skin tone.
 
Note: this product doesn’t give a very drastic peeling effect, its main purpose is to exfoliate and brighten your skin so your other skin care products can penetrate deeper.

Glycolic acid peels vary in intensity. The more mild versions can be done solo at home, but the medium and deep peels must be done by a doctor or licensed aesthetician or cosmetologist.
Usage guide:
First, client needs to sign a consent form before the procedure begins.
Prepare your neutralizer by making a 20% sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) solution by mixing 100g of baking soda in a 300ml distilled or clean water. 
After the skin is cleansed and degreased with alcohol.
Cotton pad is used to apply the glycolic acid on the skin up to 2-3layers depending on the skin being worked on.
For mild penetration, 15%-30% glycolic acid is used.
For medium penetration , 35%-50% glycolic acid is used.
For deep penetration, from 50% up to 70% is used.
The treatment is usually left on the skin for just a few minutes within 3-5mins.
During the peel you might feel a tingling sensation, but no intense burning or discomfort. Client is free to numb skin first before procedure.
After the treatment is applied and does its thing, it’ll be neutralized with the baking soda mixture to halt the exfoliating effects.
Then rinse face and pat dry before applying your moisturizer.
After the peel application, the skin may appear and feel tight with a little redness . A mild flaky peel is experienced from 3-5days after .
During the peel you might feel a tingling sensation, but no intense burning or discomfort.  Avoid sun exposure as glycolic acid can increase sensitivity to uv.
